PURPOSE:To improve mounting property and sensitivity, by providing a pressure sensitive element, which is to become a pressure detector, a terminal plate element and heat insulator in a laminated state in a groove, which is provided in the bearing surface of a housing of a device, and compressing the detector by a diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:Pressure in a combustion chamber 10 is guided to a pressure chamber 7 and applied on a diaphragm 62 of a pressure detector 6. The force generated in this way is applied to a pressure sensitive element 65 through a heat insulator 63 and a terminal plate 64. Electric charge is generated by the pressure sensitive element 65 based on the applied force and transmitted to a lead wire 61 through the terminal plate 64. At this time, since a preliminary load is applied on the pressure sensitive element 65 and the like by the diaphragm 62, backlash is not yielded due to vibration and the like. The thermal load of the pressure sensitive element becomes light. The mass of an ignition plug 1 does not act as acceleration. Therefore sensitivity is improved. It is not necessary to expand the attaching part of the ignition plug 1. Thus the mounting property is improved and the sensitivity is enhanced. |
