A frame (1) has at least one ground engaging wheel (9) and an implement. Each ground wheel or implement is suspended by a gas spring (99) to the frame, the pressure in which may differ from that in another gas spring. The gas springs can have gas pressure accumulators communicating with a hydraulic cylinder between a ground wheel and the frame. A control to regulate the pressures in the gas springs can have a source of pressurised fluid communicating with the hydraulic cylinder. The feed source can be a hydraulic cylinder, the pressure volume of which communicates with that of the first hydraulic cylinder.
