PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of air flowing into a room in defrosting to thereby eliminate uncomfortableness, by a construction wherein a plurality of blowers are provided, and an appropriate number of blower motors are so connected that they can be selectively connected in a Y-connection or a DELTA-connection. CONSTITUTION:In the figure, two room heat exchanger blowers and motors for the blowers are provided. The blowers are connected in the DELTA-connection when electromagnetic contactors 52F1, 52F2 are turned ON and an electromagnetic contactor 52F3 is turned OFF, and the blowers are connected in the Y-connection when the contactors 52F1, 52F3 are turned ON and the contactor 52F2 is turned OFF. When an exterior heat exchanger is frosted and a temperature switch 26D is turned ON, a b-contact x1 for a relay coil (x) is turned OFF, a four-way valve coil 21S4 is turned OFF, a c-contact x2 for the relay coil (x) is switched to the right side, the contactor 52F2 is turned OFF, the contactor 52F3 is turned ON, and an electromagnetic contactor 52F4 is turned OFF, so that a No.1 blower is rotated through the Y-connection, while a No.2 blower is stopped.
