PURPOSE:To relax a noise caused by shock in a drainage valve, constituted by a valve rod and a conical valve member mounted to its bottom end part, by interposing an elastic damping material in required length to be mounted to a bottom part of the valve rod positioned in the upper of the conical valve member. CONSTITUTION:The main unit of a pump, connected by mounting a valve seat plate 2 to be interposed between a curved communication pipe B integrally formed with a water flow pipe A and an air tank D having in the bottom of its side wall a lifting delivery port C, provides a lifting valve E in the center of the valve seat plate 2 while mounts a drainage valve F in such a manner that a valve member 33 is sunk into the pipe below a mounting port A'. This drainage valve F, constituted by a valve rod 34 and the conical valve member 33 mounted to its bottom end part, interpose an elastic damping material in required length to be mounted to a bottom part of the valve rod positioned in the upper of conical valve member 33. As a result, the valve F, when it receives a shocking load by rapidly closing the valve member 33 acting in response to a pressure rise of fluid in the water flow pipe A, relaxes a noise due to a shock by causing the elastic damping material to absorb the shock. |
