摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the off-track degree due to the heat by using the potential difference due to the displacement of a piezoelectric element provided to a frame part caused by the heat expansion of the frame as the input of a piezoelectric element provided to the part of a head attachment mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A head suspension 6 holding a magnetic head 5 is fixed to a piezoelectric element 10 by a suspension support pin 13 and also to a head attachment mechanism 7 by a suspension fixing pin 12 at a position away from the fixed position of the pin 13 by a fixed distance. A spindle mechanism 3 and an actuator 8 generate the heat as a loss of the energy conversion, and each part has the heat expansion. Thus an off-track phenomenon is produced between the head 5 and a magnetic disk 1. For a track, the displacements due to the different linear expansion factors of component members and due to the heat expansion of a transient heat frame 4 for a period during which a heat distribution is kept in a steady state are applied to the element 9. Thus the output voltage approximately proportional to the degree of displacement is produced between output terminals (a) and (b). This output voltage is applied between input terminals (c) and (d) of the element 10. Thus a displacement degree approximately proportional to the input voltage is produced at the head 5. Then the degree of off- track due to the heat is extremely reduced.
