PURPOSE:To facilitate the plumbing and to make a necessary space small, by using only one pipe line for cylinder units in a power seat. CONSTITUTION:A power seat in a seat is composed of a rail, a slider, a link piece connecting between the slider and the seat, and cylinder units A, B. Both cylinder units A, B has the same structure. That is, the inside of each cylinder 10 is parted into a first chamber S1 and a second chamber S2 by means of a partition wall 22. The first chamber S1 is connected with a pipe 21a, and the second chamber S2 is disposed therein with a piston 23 secured to a piston rod 9. With the piston 23, the second chamber S2 is further divided into a first small chamber S2-1 and a second small chamber S2-2 which are communicated together through a bypass passage 24 in which a lock valve 26 is diposed.
