PURPOSE:To prevent pulverized carrier particles from attaching to an image bearing member by specifying the magnetization of the magnetic carrier particles of a binary developer to be oscillated with an oscillating electric field. CONSTITUTION:The magnetization of the magnetic carrier of a binary developer to be oscillated with an oscillating electric field is controlled to 15-60emu/g in a magnetic field on a developing sleeve. Accordingly, magnetic bias is lowered by fine pulverization, and carrier particles are prevented from attaching to an image bearing member together with toner particles, and good development processing is executed with finely pulverized carrier particles and toner particles to form an image good in quality. |
