摘要 PURPOSE:To reliably produce the decelerating speed of a vehicle in response to a stepping-on force of a brake, by a method wherein a brake assisting force generating part and a valve for controlling said assisting force are mounted to brake force regulating actuator which controls a decelerating speed to a value proportioning a pedal stepping-on force. CONSTITUTION:A brake regulating actuator 9 is provided with a brake assisting force generating part A and a control valve B which controls an assisting force generated by said brake assisting force generating part A. The valve B has a valve X which controls intercommunication of a rear chamber 19 of a servo 13 on the input side and a rear chamber 18 of a servo 13 on the input side and a rear chamber 18 of a servo 12 on the output side of the actuator A and a valve Y which intercommunicates the rear chamber 18 and a vacuum generating source. According to detecting signals from a brake stepping-on force detecting sensor 6 and a decelerating speed detecting sensor 7, a control means 8 controls excitation of a solenoid 31 to drive a plunger 37. During of the plunger 37 causes operation of a diaphragm 32 to gradually control operation of the valves X and Y so as to generate brake by means of which a decelerating speed is adjusted to a value proportioning a stepping-on force.
