PURPOSE:To reduce the degree of off-track by applying the output voltage produced by the heat expansion of the frame of a piezoelectric element set at a frame part through a voltage amplifying circuit in the form of the input voltage of a piezoelectric element set to a head attachment mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A spindle mechanism 3 and an actuator 8 produce the heat as a loss of energy conversion, and each part has the heat expansion. A piezoelectric element 9 which is fixed to a frame 4 at least at two points produces the output voltage approximately proportional to the displacement degree due to the heat expansion of the frame 4 between output terminals (a) and (b). This output voltage is applied between input terminals (c) and (d) of a piezoelectric element 10. Thus the element 10 can have a displacement approximately proportional to the input voltage. Therefore a magnetic head 5 displaces in the direction where the heat expansion of the frame 4 is eliminated. Thus it is possible to reduce the degree of the off-track due to a heat generating mechanism. |
