PURPOSE:To attain miniaturization of an electronic device by forming an A/D converter circuit with an arithmetic circuit applying sequentially arithmetic to an input analog signal converted into digital information. CONSTITUTION:When an analog signal is inputted to a comparator group 12, each comparator 11 compares an intrinsic reference voltage with an input signal, outputs the relation of the amplitude, the result is coded by an encoder 14 and 4-bit quantization output is obtained. A 4-bit output 23 is obtained by applying the calculation registered in the arithmetic circuit 21 to the 4-bit quantized output from the input signal 11 to the arithmetic circuit 21 according to the input 22 of the signal representing the level of the electric field strength.
