PURPOSE:The titled composition, containing a water-soluble vinyl or vinylidene based polymer and a lower alkyl ester salt of a mono-N long chain acyl basic amino acid, capable of giving good touch of the hair after setting, and having improved curl holding power. CONSTITUTION:A hair cosmetic composition containing (A) 0.1-5wt% water- soluble vinyl or vinylidene based polymer and (B) 0.2-5wt% lower alkyl ester salt of a mono-N long chain acryl basic amino acid. The composition has improved touch without sticking or stiffening the set hair and has improved curl holding powder. Examples of the component (A) include water-soluble high polymers such as polyvinylpyrrolidone based, acid polyvinyl ether based, acidic polyvinyl acetate based polymers, etc., and examples of the component (B) include stearyl arginine ethyl ester hydrochloride, etc. The composition is used in the form of hair rinse, hair lotion, etc. |
