PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability for protecting a motor from overcurrent by controlling the output to a current controller interposed in a motor conduction passage on the basis of the compared result of a motor current with a limited current value. CONSTITUTION:A current detected by a current detecting resistor 4 is compared by a current detection amplifier 5 with a reference value. When the current detection value exceeds a reference value, an output transistor 5a is turned ON, and a signal is outputted through a separator 7. An AND circuit 8 takes an AND of a signal from the separator 7 and a control signal outputted from a main circuit after starting, and decides a signal value applied to a power transistor 1 for a DC motor driver. Thus, a DC motor 2 is protected from overcurrent. |
