Programmable housing with alarm for credit cards. The invention relates to a device making it possible to remove the risks of losing a credit card during use as well as facilitating keeping track of the accounts which ensue from it. The assembly is composed of a housing 1 and 2 exhibiting an orifice 3 through which the credit card 4 is inserted; an electrical contactor 5 determines the presence of the credit card 4 by opening or by closing an integrated time delay circuit in the microprocessor 6 programmed in such a way as to trigger an audible buzzer 7 when the time of absence of the credit card exceed that programmed by the microprocessor 6. Moreover, a keyboard 8 makes it possible to program the various operations carried out with the credit card 4. The microprocessor 6 also provides all the functions of a calculator. The information is visible on a liquid crystal screen 9. A retaining spring 10 holds the credit card 4 in the housing. The housing 2 comprises the battery compartment 11.
