Article made of coloured vitreous ceramic which has the characteristics specified in Claim 1 or 2 of the main patent. This vitreous ceramic is opaque and light-cream in colour; it can contain more than 0.15 % by weight and up to 0.25 % by weight of impurities such as Fe2O3. Its basic composition additionally contains up to 0.002 % of V2O5 and up to 0.1 % of MnO2. Application to cooking utensils. <IMAGE>
