Device permitting continuous moistening of the soil contained in any receptacle. The system makes it possible to convert any receptacle whatsoever into a plant tub with water reserve. The water reserve is produced by virtue of a reservoir buried in the soil contained in the plant tub. A tube enables the reservoir to be filled from the outside. A float system makes it possible to see the level of water remaining in the reservoir. Wicks immersed in the water provide moistening. The invention may be used for plant tubs and for growing in open ground.
