<p>The portable cooker for food, in partic. for Pizzas, consists of a cooker plate underneath which is a source of heat, and above which is a lid, enclosing a space between the plate and the lid. The metal plate is pref. made of an aluminium alloy, and has a projecting rim all round for containing the ingredients of the dish being cooked. The upper surface of the plate isridged. The upper surface of the cooker plate is coated with a non-stick polymer layer, such as polytetrafluoroethylene resin. Around the plate are vertical ducts for the heat to rise through. The heat source consists of an electric resistor next to and parallel to the periphery of the plate.</p> |
