PURPOSE:To eliminate the production of a thrust load by coupling a rotor composed of an annular magnet unit and a yoke with a rotational support shaft and arranging polyphase coils in a magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:A rotor is composed by a cylindrical yoke 6 in which an annular permanent magnet 5 is secured to the inner surface and securing a disc-shaped yoke 7 to the both ends of a supporting member 8 of a hollow shaft. A plurality of polyphase coils 9 are arranged in a magnetic field oppositely to the magnet 5 in the yoke 6. The coils 9 are supported fixedly by a coil holding member 10. The rotary drive of the rotor is controlled by suitably switching the excitation of the coils 9 by a speed detector. |
