PURPOSE:To prepare a polishing tape having the superior polishing faculty and the uniform surface of a polishing layer by allowing a coating liquid for polishing layer to contain inorganic precipitation preventive in a specific wt% per solid portion and simplifying process control. CONSTITUTION:Superfine activated precipitated calcium carbonate, sepiolite, etc. are used as inorganic precipitation preventive, and the amount of use is 0.3- 1.0wt% with respect to the solid portion of polishing agent, and when the amount is less than 0.3%, the effect for preventing precipitation is not generated, and when the amount is larger than 10%, the content of polishing material in a polishing layer is insufficient, and polishing faculty is reduced. As for polishing coating liquid, polishing material, binder, dispersant, and solvent are mixed and kneaded and dispersed in a ball mill, etc., and after the led-down by the solution consisting of solvent and the compounding ingredients such as binder, inorganic precipitation preventive, etc., the product is filtered by a membrane filter, etc., and paint is obtained. Said paint is applied onto a base film by a gravure coater, etc. so that the dry thickness is 3-50mum or so, and then dried at 80-150 deg.C, and a polishing tape having the superior polishing faculty can be obtained. |
