PURPOSE:The titled composition which scarcely stains an emboss roll and can give a foam having a uniform and dense cell structure, containing a vinyl chloride resin, an organic blowing agent, a hydrophilic solvent, a glycidyl group-containing compound, an organotin compound and an organic phosphite ester. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition containing a vinyl chloride resin, an organic blowing agent, a hydrophilic solvent of a b.p. >=150 deg.C, a glycidyl group-containing compound, an organotin compound of formula I or II, and an organic phosphite ester. Examples of the organic blowing agents include azodicarbonamice and nitrourea. These blowing agents are each used in an amount of, usually, 0.5-10pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin. The hydrophilic solvent means a solvent which is soluble in water in a concentration >=50% and, especially, propylene glycol, ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, dipropylene glycol or a combination thereof is preferable as said solvent.
