PURPOSE:To improve the stability of a toner to electrostatic charge and to provide superior durability by coating magnetic powder with a product produced by reacting a silane coupling agent having an amino group with a specified phosphoric ester. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic powder is coated with a product produced by reacting a silane coupling agent having an amino group with one or more kinds of phosphoric esters selected among phosphoric esters represented by formulae (RO)lPO(OH)3-l, [RO(AO)n]lPO(OH)3-l and [R'COO(AO)n]l PO(OH)3-l (where R is 3-22C alkyl or alkenyl, R' is 2-21C alkyl or alkenyl, A is 2-4C alkylene, (l) is 1, 1.5 or 2, and (n) is 1-30). The stability of a toner to electrostatic charge and the durability can be improved by using the coated carrier. |
