In a conveyor chain, comprising a plurality of inner chain links (14) which each consist of two sleeves (18) connected to one another by means of internal strips (16) and are articulatedly connected by means of outside strips (20) and link pins (22) which penetrate the sleeves (18), the link pins (22) axially overlap the outside strips (20) on both sides, sealing strips (26) being articulated with the last link pin (28) of a chain end. The sealing strips (26) each have on their inside a supporting flank (36), which is aligned essentially transversely to their longitudinal direction, for gripping the projecting end section (24) of a link pin (22) from behind. Locking means (38) hold the sealing strip (26) in its closed position, at least when the chain is under tension. <IMAGE>
