Aircraft. Said aircraft is a further development of the aircraft with the file reference P 3344740.3. The aircraft in the prior application is driven by a number of drive turbines which are distributed all round externally. In the case of the invention according to the application, a turbine wheel is provided which extends all round the external circumference of the flying object and is supported in a housing which is open at the top and bottom in order to suck the air in and eject it by means of the turbine wheel. Said turbine wheel is mounted with its hub on the motor shaft and is driven by the motor which is placed in the interior of the upper half of the sphere. Control takes place by means of known control flaps, by electrical means. An inflatable air cushion is provided for taking off and landing on water. The aircraft can take off and land vertically and can also fly horizontally. The drive being positioned uniformly all round provides improved efficiency.
