<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a superconductive magnet from deflecting or plastically deforming by varying the thickness of a superconductive coil frame, increasing in thickness the portion near the central axis and decreasing the portion farther from the axis. CONSTITUTION:Since the maximum shearing force is applied to the innermost layer of a superconductive coil 11, the side plate 10a of the frame 10 of the coil inner layer is increased in thickness, the deflection is reduced to prevent the plastic deformation. Since large shearing force is not applied to the frame of the outermost layer of the coil, it is reduced. According to this structure, the deflection and the plastic deformation can be prevented, and the weight and the material can be reduced and saved.</p> |
