PURPOSE:To reduce the vibrations of the tracking direction which are produced when an objected lens is driven for automatic forcusing or the objective lens is shifted on a track of a disk and therefore to reduce the reading error due to said vibrations, by using a spring having a slender middle part compared with both end parts to support an optical means. CONSTITUTION:A plate spring having a slender center part compared with both end parts is used only in the automatic focusing direction. That is, the distribution of the moment force of the plate spring produced by the autmatic focusing of an objective lens or a track shift is larger at both ends than the part of the plate spring. At the same time, the center part of the plate spring has small width since a soft structure is needed for the drive of the plate spring given in the automatic focusing direction in response to the automatic foucusing of the objective lens. Thus it is possible to reduce the vibrations of the tracking direction produced by the vibrations of the automatic focusing direction due to the automatic focusing drive. This can reduce the reading error of optical information. |
