PURPOSE:To raise the efficiency and reduce labor, by providing a feeder for the resin sheet or the like with a detection unit for detecting the rear end of the sheet and with a mechanism for cutting off the rear end of the sheet and fuse-bonding the cut-off end to the front end of a next sheet thereby continuously feed a resin sheet or the like. CONSTITUTION:Equipemnt for feeding a foamed resin sheet or film or the like to a working process or the like comprises a rotary sheet feed section 2 whereon the sheet is set, a next sheet feed section 2', a sheet rear end detection unit 5, a cutting- off section 6, a connection unit 7, etc. When the supply of the sheet A from the sheet feed section 2 is finished, a paper pipe (a) falls in a guide groove 4 and is detected by the detection unit 5. The cutting-off section 6 is operated in response to information from the detection unit 5 to cut off the rear end of the sheet A. The cut-off end is overlapped with the front end of a next sheet A'' and fuse-bonded thereto by the connection unit 7. The sheet A'' is then fed from the next sheet feed section 2'. |
