The invention relates to a wedge lock (1) which permits alignment and connection, in particular, of frame shutterings (5) which form a concrete shuttering. By means of wedge locks (1) which have a sliding element (1a) with two angular arms (1e), a profiled pipe which is straight (4), angular or provided with a joint is pressed against the outer surfaces of corresponding webs (5a), which form the framework of the frame shuttering (5), by the action of locking surfaces (1g) which are inclined with respect to the sliding surface. In this arrangement, the locking surfaces act on elements (3) which project laterally from the profiles (5). Tightening or loosening of the wedge lock (1) is effected by hammer blows, in direction (A) or in counter-direction (B) respectively, on the ends (1b, 1c) of the sliding element (1a).
