Gritting device for the tracks of a motor vehicle

A gritting device for the tracks of a motor vehicle is formed from a grit container 4 with an outlet 5 and two grit channels 6 in which endless revolving conveyor belts 7 revolve in opposite directions. The latter are provided on the underside with a transverse toothing 12 for engagement in toothed deflection rollers 9, 10, and on the upper side with a transverse ribbing 13 for transporting a metered quantity of grit in a well-directed manner. Flexible hoses 18 are attached to the end of the grit channels 6 as grit outlet openings 8. As a result, a well-directed and metered quantity of grit can be made instantly available for the tracks of a motor vehicle (Fig. 2). <IMAGE>
