Reverse-flow prevention device with automatic venting

Fitting for hydraulic lines for the purpose of avoiding reverse circulation and having automatic venting. Air frequently accumulates between pumps which are not circulating and reverse-flow prevention devices and, when the pumps are started, this air is compressed by the impeller but cannot lift the spring-loaded closure element of the reverse-flow prevention device and escape. The invention describes a hole provided in the closure part as a valve seat for a ball which closes the hole again after the air has passed. <IMAGE>
