PURPOSE:To grip a press material by grasping means in the correctly positioned state by attracting the press material to an electromagnet device and moving the same by a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:When a check sensor detects that a press material A is placed on an imposing plate 12, heads 17a, 18a of both electromagnets project toward the long guide holes 12a, 12b thus attracting the material A. The material A is adjusted and moved by the action of the Y-direction cylinder 16 of an electromagnet device 13 by which the top end edge is inserted into right and left grasping means 22 and 22. The material is thus positioned when the 1st switches 30, 30 are turned on. The X-direction cylinder 20 of the device 13 moves laterally a sliding frame 15 in the X-axis direction and moves laterally the material A when the 1st switches 30, 30 are turned on. Switches 40, 40 turn on when the material A moving in the X-axis direction is positioned upon contacting of the side edge thereof with a side wall part 11C, then respective grip cylinders 28 of the means 22, 22 are actuated and grasping ports 22a, 22a grasp the top end edge of the material A, by which the positioning operation is completed. |
