<p>In a ball striker, especially a tennis racket, consisting of a frame surrounding a strung striking area and making a transition at one side into a shaft on which a handle is attached, the object to be achieved is to design this ball striker in such a manner that the handle is resiliently attached to the shaft and so can effectively absorb violent impacts. At the same time, however, the handle is to be attached to the shaft in a manner which is proof against twisting. This object is achieved in that, on the shaft surface(s) (37) interacting with the longitudinal ribs (27'', 127''), contact surfaces (201) are attached which extend at least approximately perpendicularly to the shaft surface (37), interact with the, or at least one, inner end surface (202) or end edge of the longitudinal ribs (27'', 127''), and so form a secure anti-twisting protection for the handle (9) (Figures 2 and 5). <IMAGE></p> |
