PURPOSE:To obtain safety combustion condition regardless of the consumption of fuel by a method wherein, on the burner of a grain dryer, an injection port injecting evaporating fuel between an evaporating cylinder and a combustion board is formed and the size of the injection port is changed by moving of a motor shaft forward or backward. CONSTITUTION:In case the consumption of fuel for combustion is large quantity at the drying operation, the shaft 3 of a motor 2 is moved forward by operation of a control bolt 22 and the injection port 6 is enlarged to burn. In the consumption of fuel for combustion is small quantity, the shaft 3 of the motor 2 is moved backward by operation of the control bolt 22 and the injection port 6 is made small to burn. In this way, the size of the injection port 6 is controlled in accordance with the consumption of the fuel. The size of the injection port 6 is matched with the fuel consumption, therefore, the safety combustion conditions may be obtained at all times regardless of the fuel consumption.
