The lecithins and lyso-lecithins which contain 5,8,11,14,17-all cis-eicosapentaenoic acid and/or 4,7,8,11,14,17-all cis-docosahexaenoic acid are described. These compounds have been demonstrated in animal experiments to be non-toxic and pharmaceutically active.
