摘要 The invention relates to the drive of revolving bottle-filling machines having a high-mass rotor. In addition, the invention can be applied to all machines which have a central drive and the working elements of which are linked to these via mechanical energy lines, especially if one or more working elements has or have a relatively high mass moment of inertia. The aim of the invention is to reduce the wear on the mechanical driving elements of the rotor. The object on which the invention is based is to minimise the mechanical stress on the drive system of the filling machine during the braking associated with the relatively frequent stopping of the machine. The object is achieved according to the invention by the fact that a freewheeling clutch is arranged on the output side of the drive motor and that an additional rotor brake is arranged on the rotor, in the immediate vicinity of the rotor, on the rotor shaft itself in relation to the kinematic chain. The freewheeling clutch is preferably designed as a one-way roller clutch and the rotor brake as a friction brake. The advantage of the invention consists in that the drive system is to a considerable extent relieved of load, particularly in high-speed filling machines, resulting in a large reduction in the wear on the drive elements, in particular on the main reduction gear unit. <IMAGE>
