PURPOSE:To make people in the vehicle more comfortable, by elastically supporting the bottom valve mechanism so that it can move both upwards and downwards, and thus by absorbing the movement of the piston or vibration caused by the small stroke. CONSTITUTION:A bottom piece which is a constituent of a bottom valve mechanism 7 is divided into two parts, namely a ring shaped bottom piece (A) which is attached to the lower end of an inner cylinder 3, and a bottom piece (B) which is elastically held on the bottom piece (A) with an freely bending elastic member 15, so that the bottom piece (B) can be moved upwards and downwards. When the wheel receives an impact and the piston starts moving, the hydraulic pressure in the lower chamber S2 rises, this hydraulic pressure exerts an force on the upper surface of the elastic member 15 to deform it and also it moves the bottom piece (B) to become in contact with the upper surface of the covering member 24. In this manner, the increase of the pressure in the lower oil chamber S2 can be regulated. |
