PURPOSE:To enable the independent control of the in injection ratio of an in-line fuel injection pump furnished with a timer, by changing the slid position of a control sleeve fitted on a plunger, and by regulating the timer depending on the change of the slid position. CONSTITUTION:When an engine is running, an optimal injection ratio is calculated by a control unit 1 on the basis of the output signals of an engine rotational frequency and injection time detecting electromagnetic pickup 3, a cooling water temperature sensor 4 and a load sensor 5. A step motor 11 is driven and controlled depending on the optimal injection ratio to vertically move a control sleeve 29 fitted on the plunger 16 of an in-line fuel injection pump 40, through the action of an output rod 36, to control the injection ratio of the pump. At the time of the control, a solenoid valve 10 is opened or closed to regulate a timer actuator 7 to compensate the injection time changed due to the control of the injection ratio, to secure an optimal injection time. |
