PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of driven gear while to prevent noise when operating a gear pump, by making the driven gear of rotary pump with iron system sintered alloy while lacking the fill at the outercircumferential section. CONSTITUTION:The driven gear 3 (outer rotor) of rotary gear pump is made of ferro system sintered alloy to lack the fill directly from the outercircumferential section of driven gear 3 or through provision of a plurality of through-holes 6 at the outercircumferential section thus to reduce the weight of driven gear 3. Similar effect can be achieved when employing light alloy such as aluminum or sintered alloy such as ceramics for driven gear 3. Teflon or molybdenum coating is applied onto the surface of driven gear 3 to prevent noise. |
