<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a monolithic catalyst in which deterioration due to aging is lowered by composing essentially the neighborhood of axial center part of said monolithic catalyst carrier of platinum and the neighborhood of the outside peripheral part thereof of rhodium, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A monolithic carrier having a deposition layer formed is immersed in a soln. of dinitrodiammineplatinium, platinium nitrate, chloroplatinic acid, rhodium chloride, palladium nitrate and palladium chloride or the like and thereafter it is dried and calcined. Therefore, said raw materials are converted to platinium, rhodium and palladium and these are impregnated and deposited on the carrier.</p> |
