<p>PURPOSE:To enhance heating and heat-releasing efficiencies of a heating resistor, by a construction wherein an electrically insulating layer provided on a substrate is provided with a groove between each adjacent pair of dots each of which consists of a heating resistor and electrodes provided on the insulating layer. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of the dots each of which comprises the electrodes 4 and an exposed heating resistor (heater part) 2 at the surface thereof are arranged in parallel with each other, with a predetermined gap therebetween. A dot part of each of the dots comprises a Cr-Si heating resistor 2 and a vitreous insulating layer 7 in this order from the surface thereof, and the insulating layer 7 is provided with a groove form recess between each adjacent pair of the dots. With the recesses thus provided, the diffusion of heat into the insulating layer 7 on both sides of each of the heating resistors can be reduced.</p> |
