<p>PURPOSE:To reduce energy loss and improve the property of conveninence of a water heater by a method wherein a hot-water supplying load is operated to set the optimum heat-up temperature automatically. CONSTITUTION:A water heater is consisting of a hot-water outlet port 12, arranged above a hot-water reserving tank 11, a water supplying port 13, arranged below the same tank 11, an electric heater 14 as a heating source and a control box 6 of a hot- water temperature sensor 15, arranged below the tank 11. An operator 18 neglects a data, counted initially by a conduction time integrating counter 17 and adds several % to a set value obtained by the operation of the data obtained after secondly counted data to set the heat-up temperature. A control unit 19 controls the electric heater 14 so as to stop heating when a temperature, detected by the hot-water temperature sensor 15, has arrived at the necessary heat-up temperature T set by the operator 18. Accordingly, the heat source is constituted so as to impose the optimum amount of heat in accordance with the hot-water supplying load, therefore, energy loss, due to leaving a high temperature higher than a necessary temperature for a long period of time, or shortage of the amount of hot-water, due to the mistake of temperature setting in case well water or the like is utilized, will never be caused.</p> |
