PURPOSE:To improve the stability of a furnace temp. and to decrease heat loss by determining the required air quantity and displacement in a furnace body and controlling the displacement and the distribution of a circulating heating gas in order to maintain the temp. in the furnace body in a specific range. CONSTITUTION:A program which calculates the theoretical air quantity per unit time required for perfect combustion of a solvent from the solvent evaporation per unit time based on the kind of varnish, the size and linear speed of a wire, a stack loss, etc. and the kind of the solvent, etc. is stored in a CPU22. The output data thereof is fed to control devices 13, 16 and the air of the calculated quantity is discharged and introduced from and into the furnace. The change in the furnace temp. owing to the change in the air quantity is detected by a thermocouple 23 and the detection signal thereof is fed back to the CPU22 from which the data is fed to the device 13 so as to adjust the quantity of the intake air from a wire inlet part 2 to maintain the specified temp. in the lower part of the evaporation zone.
