PURPOSE:To aim at enhancing the durability of a thrust member in a dynamic pressure fluid bearing for a polygon drive motor, by combining a stepped section coaxial with the bore of a sleeve, with the thurst member having a spherical contact surface. CONSTITUTION:A rotary sleeve 102 secured thereto with a polygon rotor is formed in the inner surface thereof with a stepped section 102 as a thrust member receiving section on which a spherical contact surface 107 of a thurst member 7 is confronted so that the apex of the spherical contact surface is accurately positioned at the center of the circular stepped section 102a. This thrust member 107 is pressed by means of a retaining ring 120 having a threaded part. However, since an excessive pressing force causes the thrust member 107 to be deformed, a damper member made of materials such as, for example, rubber, is disposed between the thurst member 107 and the retaining ring 120. With this arrangement, the eccentricity of the pivot axis of the thrust member is prevented, thereby the durability of the thrust member may be enhanced. |
