摘要 PURPOSE:To enable the inspection of a pipe over the entire periphery thereof, by moving a truck equipped with an inspection apparatus in the outer peripheral space provided to the part to be inspected of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:The master truck 6 and a sub-truck 7 in a truck receiving part 48 is moved to a connection space from the connection opening part of the inspection space provided to the region of a pipe to be inspected in a ring shape through a rail 39. When the truck 46 is stopped at a predetermined position, a top plate 54 and the sub- truck 7 are raised by a cylinder 52. The rail 55 on the top plate 54 is flushed with the inner bottom surface of a guide ring and the upside wheels 63 of the truck 47 are contacted with the outer peripheral surface of piping 5. By rotating the wheels 56 of the truck 47, the truck 47 is moved in the inspection space. The movement of the truck 47 to a traverse direction is performed by allowing side guide wheels 64 to tumble along the inside of the guide ring. During the movement of the truck 47 or at the point of time when the truck is stopped at a proper position, an ultrasonic flaw detection apparatus 65 and a visual inspection apparatus 66 are operated to perform flaw detection. Because the truck 47 can move over the entire periphery of the ring shaped inspection space, the inspection over the entire periphery of the inspection part is enabled.
