PURPOSE:To prevent decreasing of a wave spending effect when a part of air bags are damaged, by a method wherein plural air bags are mounted to a pneumatic caisson to form air bag groups, the air bag groups are intercommunicated through their respective vent pipes to form a wave spending device, and the air chamber in the pneumatic caisson is divided into small partitions. CONSTITUTION:Plural air bags 11 are attached to pneumatic caissons 34, 35 and 36 to form air bag groups 31, 32 and 33, and the air bag groups 31, 32 and 33 are communicated through vent pipes 37', 37'', 37''', 38', 38'' and 38''' and the interior of the air chamber of each of the pneumatic caissons 34, 35 and 36 is divided with a partition to form a wave spending device. Where the wave spening device is disposed under the surface, the volume of the air bag is changed in response to a change in a pressure depending on wave height, the energy of waves is damped through movement of the air, and wave spending is practicable. Each air chamber is divided into compartments which are individually enclosed, and this, even if a part of the air bags 11 are damaged, prevents sharp reduction of a wave spending effect of the whole wave spending device. |
