<p>An applicator (10) for the electrophoretic deposition of a medicament through or on a skin surface (18). The device (10) consists of layers (24,28) of a reservoir (24) containing the drug, a battery layer (28) superimposed on the reservoir (24), and a cover (12) of electrically conductive material fully enclosing the layers (24,28) and having a lip (16) along its periphery to engage the skin surface (18). An electrically conductive adhesive (36) bonds the lip (16) of the cover (12) to the skin (18).</p> |
