PURPOSE:To obtain various types of positional relations without making a substantial change on the facilities used by simply operating an adjusting bolt by a method wherein the material to be positioned is pinched between the first and the second retaining members, and a positioning work is performed by shifting the distance which was set in advance. CONSTITUTION:When a stem 11 is carried to the prescribed mounting position, the first and the second retaining members 24 and 25 are closed as shown by the two arrows Q2 in the diagram, and the circumference of the stem 11 located between the retaining members is pinched by them. The entire retaining part 23 is moved in the direction as shown by the arrow R1 in the state wherein the stem is pinched. Then, the retaining part 23 comes to a stop when an adjusting bolt 42 comes in contact with a stopper 41. As a result, the center of the stem 11 is positioned in the state wherein it is made eccentric from the intrinsic center position in the extent of distance beta. After the mounting process has been finished, the cam 31 to be used for switching driving is raised as shown by the arrow P1, and by performing this operation, the entire retaining part 23 is driven to the direction as shown by the arrow R2 in the state wherein the stem 11 is pinched by the retaining part 23 opposing to the spring force of the second spring 36, and the retaining part 23 returns to its intrinsic center position. |
