摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the entry/exit efficiency by providing a shift zone on both outsides of an automatic warehouse and performing the delivery/reception of a cargo at an optical position between a rack bogie and a stacker crane moving in the shift zone. CONSTITUTION:If a shift zone 6a is provided on the entry side and a shift zone 6b is provided on the exit side, a bogie 8 loaded with a cargo by a shifting machine 5 in the shift zone 6a is traveled toward a stacker crane 3 on a travel path 9a. The stacker crane 3 is also moved toward the bogie 8, and both 3, 8 are stopped at the meeting position of both, then the cargo on the bogie 8 is shifted to the stacker crane 3 by the fork unit 4 of the stacker crane 3 and is conveyed to a predetermined rack 2. During the exist, a cargo taken out of the rack 2 by the stacker crane 3 is shifted to the bogie 8 and conveyed to the exit zone 6b. Accordingly, the entry/exit efficiency can be improved.
