PURPOSE:To require no belt correction work and improve the measurement precision by periodically correcting the load detection signal under a load operation by the load detection signal under a no-load operation in a belt conveyor type constant-quantity feeder. CONSTITUTION:Before a vibration feeder 2 is driven, a no-load operation of a belt conveyor is performed, and the output W of a load cell 15 is detected and inputted to a control circuit 72. The mark readout pulse P of a magnetic mark reader 80 is also inputted to the control circuit 72, and the load cell output W is stored in the control circuit 72 in reference with the pulse P. When a load operation of the device is started and the load of the material on the belt conveyor 1 is detected by the load cell 15 and is inputted to the control circuit 72, the control circuit 72 corrects it with the stored load cell output W under a no-load operation and determines the net weight and controls the device. Accordingly, no belt correction is required, and the measurement precision can be improved.
