PURPOSE:To set the transmission original and the opposite-side dial even during receiving and to enable to transmit automatically after terminating the receiving by making it possible to control the receiving-part mechanical parts and the transmitting-part mechanical parts independently. CONSTITUTION:At the time of transmitting, transmitting-part mechanical parts and an original reading circuit 1 are controlled by a transmitting-part mechanical parts control circuit 9, and other transmission operations are executed by a line control circuit 8 in the same conventional way. The control circuit 9 monitors the presence or absence of original insertion at the time of receiving, when the original is inserted during receiving, the control circuit 9 transmits the original to the reading position, and the circuit stores the opposite-side dial specified by the operator. When the receiving is terminated, the receiving mechanical parts line control circuit 8 receives the command from the control circuit 9, dials the transmitted side by using an A/A type NCU6, and excutes the transmission.
