A motor vehicle door in whose body, which comprises an inner shell and an outer shell, at least one shock-absorbing foamed body block made of high-resistant plastic foam lies in an essentially positively engaging fashion in an associated cavity extending in the longitudinal direction of the door, is characterised in that the cavity is provided in a lower section of the motor vehicle door and that each foamed body block is covered on the outside by an anti-ramming protective panelling which forms a detachably connectable component of the motor vehicle door. |
