WEDGE-TYPE DEAD-END CLAMP FOR ELECTRICAL CONDUCTORS The invention concerns a wedge-type dead-end clamp for electrical conductors with a clamp body whose inside bottom is sloping in a longitudinal direction and with an extruded overlapping sliding cover closing parallel side walls. Such a clamp is made as simple as possible and without any machine finishing in that the wall parts of the clamp body are separate, drop-forged parts with offset edges and that the bottom and cover parts are extruded members with lateral undercut slots. The holding lugs required for a suspension of the clamp can in case of need be added by drop-forging.
